1. Acceptance of Terms
By making a reservation or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these General Terms and Conditions. These terms form a legal agreement between you (the customer) and RUC d.o.o. and apply to all bookings and services provided.
2. Reservation Process
When making a reservation, you must provide all necessary details required for the booking process. This includes, but is not limited to, your contact information and any special requests or requirements.
3. Group and Large-Scale Reservations
Reservations made by individuals or agencies on behalf of multiple guests, or involving more than nine (9) rooms for the same period, must be made directly through the hostel. If more than nine (9) rooms are booked through other means, RUC d.o.o. reserves the right to cancel or impose additional requirements on such bookings.
4. Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel a reservation, it must be done in writing via registered mail, email, or fax. Cancellations are accepted only from the reservation holder. Cancellation fees may apply according to the following schedule:
For Individual Guests (up to 10 persons):
- Up to 1 day before arrival – no cancellation fee.
- Less than 1 day before arrival – 100% of the amount for the first night.
- No-show (guest does not arrive) – 100% of the amount for the first night.
For Groups (11 or more persons):
- Up to 15 days before arrival – no cancellation fee.
- From 14 to 5 days before arrival – 50% of the amount for the first night.
- From 4 to 0 days before arrival – 100% of the amount for the first night.
- No-show (guest does not arrive) – 100% of the amount for the first night.
Cancellation fees are calculated as a percentage of the total cost and do not include administrative costs.
5. Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure, you must provide written confirmation from an authorized institution. RUC d.o.o. will charge only the actual costs incurred, up to a maximum of 25% of the total value of the service. If you do not arrive by midnight on the day your service is to start and have not informed us, your reservation will be considered canceled, and cancellation fees will be applied according to the schedule above.
6. Early Departure
If you decide to leave the accommodation before the end of the reserved period, no compensation or refund will be provided.
7. Changes and Cancellations by Us
We reserve the right to modify the offer before acceptance in case of significant changes. If we must change or cancel a reservation, we will notify you as soon as possible and will try to find alternative accommodation of similar type, standard, and location.
If alternative accommodation is only available at a higher category and at a price 10% higher than the original reservation, RUC d.o.o. reserves the right to charge the price difference, subject to your approval. If we cannot provide alternative accommodation or you do not accept the offered alternative, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation with prior notice.
If alternative accommodation cannot be offered or is not accepted, we will fully refund the amount paid, and our obligations and responsibilities will end.
8. Liability
RUC d.o.o. is not responsible for any damages or losses incurred by guests due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to, natural disasters, transportation disruptions, or other unforeseeable events.
9. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other communication channels. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law
These General Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which RUC d.o.o. operates. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
